HEALS light therapy. WARP 75 light therapy device that is being used to treat the side-effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy in cancer patients. Called HEALS (High Emissivity Aluminiferous Luminescent Substrate), this technology uses 288 powerful light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to provide intense amounts of light at a wavelength of 670 nanometres. HEALS light therapy was developed from experiments carried out on the International Space Station.
