Jimmy Now, Jimmy "LJ" Now and Lt. Col. Chad Kohout, 36th Rescue Squadron commander, make their way to the UH-1N Huey during the Now family's visit Sept. 7, 2018, at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington. LJ has been battling a rare mutation of cancer since he was two years old, and his "final wish" was to be a helicopter pilot.
