Marseille, France. 23 December 2020. The illuminated streets of the French city of Marseille remain empty as a night curfew is imposed in the country during the festive season. Despite the lift of a major lockdown on December 15th, restrictions against the spread of the Coronavirus remain in place in the country to prevent a further surge in Coronavirus cases. The measures include a nationwide curfew from 20:00 pm to am, with an attestation form required in case of extreme necessity to break it. The curfew during the festivities will only be lifted at Christmas Eve
