Moored boats on the Beaulieu River at Buckler's Hard, a village within the Beaulieu Estate in the New Forest National Park of Hampshire in Britain. Buckler's Hard, has a rich history in shipbuilding for the navy during the reign of King George 111. Twenty-six navy warships were built, including three, Swiftsure, Euryalus and Agamemnon that took part in the Battle of Trafalgar 1805. Lord Nelson served for a while on Agamemnon and lost his right eye during the siege of Calvi in Corsica, a French-ruled island in the Mediterranean Sea. Another ship built in the same yard was the Scorpion which took part in the famous expedition carrying troops to Quebec in Canada under General James Wolfe.
