Ten German Fokker aircraft of Jasta 72 at Bergnicourt, France, in July 1918. The Fokker was a German World War I fighter aircraft quickly proved itself to be a formidable aircraft while serving with the Imperial German Army Air Service (Luftstreitkräfte) during World War I. The was also noted for its high manoeuvrability and ability to climb, its remarkably docile stall and reluctance to spin.
