A few hundred protesters marched through Mainz, to protest against the politics of the German government and the EU of closed borders and the prevention of sea rescue operations of NGOs, by grounding their ships in Malta, that causes refugees to drown in the Mediterranean. They called for the Mayor of Mainz to take in refugees from the Mediterranean.
