ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 21, 2017) Aviation Boatswain's Mate - Aircraft Handling 3rd Class Thomas Nichols drives a forklift of supplies off the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19). Mesa Verde is underway conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
