Coast Guard Cutter KLAMATH, Bering Sea Patrol; Bureau of Commercial Fisheries Personnel. The Coast Guard Cutter KLAMATH (top), based in Seattle, Washington, will be part of an expanded Coast Guard Alaskan patrol this summer. Additional vessels have been requested by the Fish and Wildlife Service. Their request is a result of numerous complaints of alleged violations of international and United States fisheries regulations. Coast Guard and Bureau of Commercial Fisheries personnel will check factory vessels (bottom) and trawlers for conformance with regulations.
