He, too, is at hisbest in this medium, and his drawings arecharacterized by strength of brush-work andvigour of expression. His Evening Moon, anautumnal scene, here reproduced, is one of thebest works he has executed in recent years. The fourth exhibition of water-colour paintingscontained some representative works and pre-sented an interesting phase of a new tendenc
