This very distinct and valuable variety liails from County, N. Y. It is of a peculiar shape, being unlike any other; it is oval and tapers towanl each end. It is of a creamy color both inside and out. The vines are very hardy and prolific. It is early and keeps late. Its chief value is for " Pumpkin ; Beins tiue-firalued and rich-jlinored, it makes superior quality of pies. By being stored in a warm, dry i)lace, the pumpkins can be preserved until late in winter.
