2012-06-15 History was made at 10:15 PM last night at Niagara Falls in Ontario; Canada, when for the first time ever in front of 150 thousand spectator and a Worldwide TV audience, 33-year-old Nik Wallenda, member of the “Flying Wallendars” cross the Horseshoe Falls from the USA side to Canada on a 5cm thick and 550 meter long steel wire. The high wire walk took 35 minutes. “The fog and the wet mist from the Horseshoe Falls made the crossing rather difficult” said Wallenda at a Press Conference.
