Bulgaria November 21st 2013: A building which only had the four walls standing before the workmen arrived the church which was burnt down over half a century ago. Now stands proud over-looking the valley below with all it icons restored to their former glory after back breaking labouring of the builders and hours of the personal touches of the artist who paid attention to fine detail of the many paintings that face you as you walk through the Church door , over the door the hand painted slab of stone reads, Temple of Saint George. The Church opened its doors in time for Celebrating the Day of the Christian Family a Christians religious holiday of the Blessed Virgin Mary one of the twelve holidays devoted to Orthodox Christian. Malomirovo church at the foothill to the Strandja mountains was first built 1834 and during the ottoman rule was burnt down, rebuilt in 1890 the new church was built with the present day tower which is now a monument of culture. Russian Emperor Alexander II who made a personal gift a two hundred pound bell to the church, his social reforms in Russia and his role in the liberation of Bulgaria Alexander II became known across Bulgaria as the "Tsar-.
