As thereare no windows the only light enteringthe room comes from the same holeor through the open doorway. Behindthis principal room there are two smallsleeping chambers with flat ceilings, the space between these and thesloping roof above being used fordrying wood and sometimes as asleeping place. Over the fireplace is awooden dragon-shaped beam for hang-ing the cooking pots. The entranceis very low pitched and considerablyabove the ground level, so that passingin and out offers some difficulty. Thisfeature is probably a relic of the olden.
