This variety comes true from seed. The flowers are of large size, of a beautiful dark rose color^ and borne profusely on long and stiff stalks. It is a plant of unusual merit, and deserves to be largely grown. Daisies may be easily raised from seed sown in the spring, and had in flower in a few weeks. Per pkt., 25 cts. LAVATERA ARBO- REA VARIEGATA. No. 6012. A distinct and new species of Variegated Fo- liage plants. It is quite con- stant from seed, but like the Stri])ed Maize the variegation becomes more striking as the plants grow large. Slightly protected it has, in England,, stood the winter in the open- ground uninjured. Per pkt., 15 cts.
