St Anne's Limehouse tower pinnacles & White Ensign; by Nicholas Hawksmoor 1714-27.

Saint Anne Limehouse in the East End of London. One of the 'Fifty New Churches' or 'Queen Anne Churches'. Built by Nicholas Hawksmoor 1714-27. St Anne’s long links with the Royal Navy are enshrined in the church’s right to fly the White Ensign at all times, a privilege usually restricted to Royal Naval vessels under way at sea.
