The largest and best onions are produced by sowing seed in hot- bed early in the spring and transplanting when plants have reached the proper size. Oz., 30 cts.; 14. lb., $; lb., ^ Australian Yellow^ Globe. This extra early variety of onion originally came from Australia. It is a beautiful globe-shape and quite attractive and a splendid keeper. The onions grow to a large size and are very solid, skin is deep yellow, flesh white and of very mild flavor. Besides being an extra early onion, it is very productive and an excellent keeper. Skin brown and flavor mild. The crop runs uniform in size and shape ; nearly every plant produces a fineonion.
