The 15th-century Campveerse Toren (defensive tower) in Veere, Netherlands

The Campveerse Toren was built as a defensive tower in the 15th century in order to defend the port of Verre. However, according to tradition, the building would also be home to one of the country's oldest inns. The complex was restored in 1950 and in 2007.
