Chords Bridge, Jerusalem

The Jerusalem Chords Bridge near the Central Station in Jerusalem, Israel, which carries the Red Line of the Jerusalem Light Rail system across a road intersection into the city. Although other lines were planned, the Red Line, which opened in 2011, was the only one in operation as of early 2022. The side-spar, cable-stayed bridge was designed by Spanish architect and engineer Santiago Calatrava and opened in 2008.
