Made from 6000 suspended lights, Enlightenment fills the North Porch and creates a virtual world, enveloping and stimulating the viewer. We warmly invite you to move into this body of light and see how the light responds to your presence, moving onwards and outwards. This artwork is concerned with the idea of the ripple effect of the Magna Carta, how its principles have changed and how its influence has spread across the globe. We enter the space and feel the magnitude of the legacy of this important document.
