A press conference on refuges that was cleared on 19 August from a building they occupied (about 800 people) four years ago in Independence Square, near the Termini station. After the clearance, no solution was offered to all refugees - mainly Eritrean and Somali - and for five nights they slept in the flower beds in front of the cleared building. Early in the morning, they were loaded by the police with the hydrants while they were still sleeping and were beaten too. Part of them even tonight slept in the street.
