Port Talbot (/pərˈtɔːlbət/ or /pərˈtælbət/[2]) is a town located in the county borough of Neath Port Talbot, Wales. It had a population of 37,276 in 2011.[1] It is best known as the home of the Port Talbot Steelworks, one of biggest steelworks in the world, which currently employs an estimated 10% of the town's population.
