The waterwheel of a tide mill, in Pont Aven (Finistere - France). Going down the Black Mountains, the Aven river has seen many water mills (14 in the past) make their wheels turn on its banks. One of them was even immortalized by Gauguin on a painting. La roue à palettes d' un moulin à marée, à Pont Aven (Finistère 29 - France). Descendant des Montagnes Noires, la rivière Aven a vu de nombreux moulins faire tourner leurs roues sur ses rives (14 autrefois). L' un d' entre eux fut même immortalisé par Gauguin sur un de ses tableaux.
