Barrahaurin Alignment—This alignment is in the anglemade by the road from Stnake meeting the road from Athabatteenin the townland of Barrahaurin. These stones are about half a milenorth of the Kilmartin Stone Circle. They are three fields northof the Athabatteen road and are not visible from it. They are inthe first or second field from the Stnake road and are plainly visiblefrom it. They are five in number ; three have fallen. A (fallen) is15 feet long. 60 inches wide, 11 inches thick. B (fallen) is 8| feet. Barrahaurin, Plan and Elevation long, 36 inches wide, 16 inches thick ; 60 inches between A and (standing) is 13J feet high, 62 inches wide, 23 inches thick ; 46inches between B and C. D (fallen) is 50 inches long, 36 inches wide,8 inches thick ; 103 inches between C and D. E (standing) is 8J feethigh, 68 inches wide, 20 inches thick ; 44 inches between D and one of the angles of E are a few faint illegible scorings.
