Royal Institution Christmas Lecture, 1936. The Christmas Lectures for children have been held annually since 1825 at the Royal Institution, London, UK. The 1936 lectures were presented by British physicist Geoffrey Ingram Taylor (1886-1975). The title of the lectures was 'Ships'. Here, the use of a diving helmet is being demonstrated.
