Smallest book in the world. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of the smallest published book in the world. This tiny leather- bound volume measures just by millimetres in page area. It is a 24-page picture book of the alphabet by the German typographer Josua Reichert. It was manufactured by Faber und Faber in Leipzig, Germany. Only single copies were made of smaller books, whereas a limited edition of this book was published by Die Gestalten Verlag, Germany, from September 2001. It comes in a wooden carrying box with a magnifying glass, and is priced at 69 UK Pounds ($110). ISBN: 3931126420. Magnification unknown.
