One-year-old Alondra Viveros, who suffers from endoftalmitis, a fungus infection in the eye, learns to walk with the help of her mother Ofelia, center, and her aunts in Meson Viejo, Mexico state, September 25, 2009. Poor families nationwide who cannot afford their children's treatment use the San Judas Tadeo Foundation shelter for chronically ill children for room and board and to help them obtain needed medication.
