Fireplace with Nazi-era frieze, Vogelsang Nazi castle


Vogelsang located in the Eifel hills of northwestern Germany near the border with Belgium was built in the 1930s to train a new Nazi party elite. It was used as a military base by the Belgian army and handed byck to the Germany government in 2006. It is now being turned into a museum. The fireplace is located in the "Baerenschaenke", a faux medieval restaurant/drinking hall built for the students.
