“Heartfelt personal Christmas messages have been written by children in Belle Vale. The poignant messages have been left on a special Wishing Wall at Belle Vale shopping centre. A child’s scrawny writing, underneath a colourful star, reads: “I wish for time with my family”. Another youngster says all he wants for Christmas “is a dad”, while another said he wishes for a “home and a family”. One thoughtful child said their Christmas 2015 wish is “to get rid of Ebola,” surrounded by a multi-coloured hand drawn star. Emotional messages have been left on a Wishing Wall at Belle Vale Shopping Centre Adults have also shared their hopes for the future. Public wishes can be pinned on the festive display until December 12. Belle Vale Shopping Centre manager Paul Wilson, said: “We didn’t expect to see such heart-wrenching wishes on the wall and it just goes to show a lot of us take what we’ve got for granted. “I only wish that we could make some of the wishes come true. “The festive feature is aimed at creating a community atmosphere and festive spirit in the shopping centre. “Retailers can also use the opportunity to tell shoppers if they have a particular product in store.” Source Liverpool Echo
