Proboscis fully developed; palpi short, porrect, reaching just beyond the frons ; antennae of female serrate ; head, thorax, and abdomen clothed with woolly pile ; tibiae with the spurs short; build stout. Fore wing with vein 3 from well before angle of cell; 4, 5 from angle ; 6 from upper angle; 7, 8, 9, 10 stalked; 11 from cell.
