Thessaloniki, Greece. 26th September 2012. Greek workers have started a Nationwide 24-hour general strike in protest against the new government's ongoing implementation of eurozone austerity cuts. The Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and his coalition partners struggle to identify some euro (£) in additional spending cuts. Demonstrations are by the two main labor unions (GSEE, ADEDY), civil servants, teachers, doctors, hospital staff, merchants, lawyers, civil engineers, bank employees and leftist organizations in Northern Greece city of Thessaloniki.
