The vivid red flowers of Lampranthus spectabilis, also known as the perennial mesembryanthemum or Livingstone daisy, is native to South Africa and Australia. Can tolerate a little frost but best overwintered in a greenhouse or conservatory or against a south-facing wall. Will thrive outside in full sunshine during the summer months. A stunning sun-lover!
