A night photograph of the BBC Scotland Headquarters and Bells bridge in Glasgow

Night Photograph of the BBC Scottish Headquarters in Pacific Quay Glasgow on the River Clyde. Pacific Quay is the most significant single project in the history of BBC Scotland. The broadcast centre was completed and fully occupied in 2007, creating a benchmark in terms of state of the art technology, production methods and public access. Bell's Bridge was opened for teh Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988. The majority of the bridge consists of a cable-stayed span which can rotate through 90 degrees, providing two lanes of passage for river traffic either side. It is named after the Bell's Whisky company, who sponsored its construction.
