And, when ina few years, our now undeveloped mines are giving up theirstores of valuable minerals; when each of our beautifulmountain streams is running manufactories; when everyfertile spot is made to blossom, and the hills are dotted withcattle, our lovely mountain country will become a state andbe second to none in the intelligence of its people or itswealth per capita.
