Town of Oban, Scotland. Dusk view of Oban harbour with the esplanade at George Street and McCaig’s Tower in the background. Started in 1897, McCaig’s Tower was constructed from Bonawe granite but due to the death of its financer, John Stuart McCaig, in 1902 the tower was never finished.
