Itfelt quite solid when touched with a probe, and showed atendency to bleed, but was not painful. It measured 18mm. vertically by 12 mm. horizontally, extended from2 mm. above the cornea to 6 mm. below it, and projectedabout 6 or 7 nun. above the level of the sclerotic.
