The official launch of USAID’s new $60 million social safety net initiative with UNICEF. The grant will include direct cash transfers to the most vulnerable households, including a one- time back-to-school financial stipend for 421,000 children, followed by a 17-month monthly cash stipend for 305,000 school-aged children 6-18 years old. The program launched in September 2022 and runs through December 2024.
