A fine cased Adams percussion revolver, Liège, circa 1855. Double action, , no. 11068. Octagonal barrel with a side-mounted loading rod. The frame is inscribed "Adams Patent" and "Adams Patent 1851" on the side. Ebony grip with finely carved rocaille decoration. Beautifully cut iron pommel cap with a small disk pommel. Metal parts display deeply chiselled, high quality, vine decoration. Original high gloss bluing, more than 90 % preserved, with a slight rust film in places. Length cm.
