'Holy Family with Saint Nicholas of Tolentino', 1515-1530. St Nicholas kneels in front of the infant Jesus who is eating cherries, the fruit of Paradise, which have been given to him by St Joseph. Above them God the Father and the Dove of the Holy Spirit appear from a cloud. An angel orchestra (top) play instruments including a harp, a lute and an organ. From the National Gallery, London.
