Root covered ruins of a Khmer temple at Koh Ker, Cambodia, which is hours north of Siem Reap & Angkor.
Koh Ker contains 10th century Khmer temples and other ruins. It has not been restored and is much more primitive than nearby Angkor Wat and Siem Reap. Remotely located, many important stone carvings have been looted. As this photo shows, much of interest remains to be fully reclaimed from the jungle.
