Two German mercenaries with halberds holding a coat of arms, early 16th century. The shield depicts two red lions rampant holding a bust of a woman, with helmet, horns and woman's bust above. Inscribed with Joachum Rotmund in dieser Gestalt war 23 Jahr alt, monogram of the painter, an owl, and the year 1514.
