The two doctors agreed upon thediagnosis and advised that a surgeonbe called and an operation perform-ed. The. surgeon was summoned lateSaturday afternoon,and it was about10 oclock when he reached the bed-side of the stricken man. The oper-ation was begun, and a very bad con-dition of the appendix was revealed,it having bursted putting the cavityin a very Jmcl condition.
