Water flow is in stake due to technical problem in water supply that happens due to mismanagement of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. City dwellers and mostly the people of slum areas in Kolkata regularly suffer by this disastrous water crisis. The common people of Tangra slum area in East Kolkata face this tremendous water crisis through out the year. It is observed that most of the water-outlets are damaged in slum areas. No necessary steps from Governmental end have been taken to repair these outlets and overcome the water crisis in slums of Kolkata. India. August 12, 2005.
