Microfluidic magneto-nano sensor chip. This chip has been developed to analyse blood proteins using nanotechnology. It is a rapid diagnostic assay using magnetic nanoparticle labels. It has an 8 by 8 sensor array and 8 microfluidic channels. The magnetic nanoparticles ar used to label protein molecules which are then accurately counted by the magneto-nano chip. This work was carried out by researchers at the Center for Cancer Nanotechnology Excellence focused on Therapeutic Response (CCNE-TR) from Stanford University, USA. Image produced in 2008.
