The year of 1920 he attended TheSchool of Fire at Fort Sill, Oklaho-ma. After completing the coursethere he was appointed instructor andinspector of national guard field artil-lery, and was assigned to duty in Ari-zona, with headquarters at Phoenixand Flagstaff.
