From i8So to 1885 hewas Professor of the Principles and Practice of Med-icine, Ophthalmology, and Otology in the Horaceo-pathic Medical College of the University of Michi-gan. He was twice president of the MichiganState Prohibition Society. He is a member of theAmerican Institute of Homoeopathy and served asits president in 1880. He founded, in 1867, TheOhio Medical and Surgical Reporter, and, in 1874,The Cincinnati Medical Advance. On June 16,1858, he was married to Marian Beckwith, andthey have two children: Harold ( 1S82, ), and Annie, now Mrs. L. H. Comstock. HENRY C. ALLEN was born in Ontario,Canada, October 2, 1838.
