Lt. Gen. David G. Bellon, Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, presents Sgt. Maj. Scott D. Grade, outgoing sergeant major of Marine Forces Reserve, with the Legion of Merit medal during a relief and appointment ceremony held at the Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, Feb 4. 2021. After 31 years of honorable and faithful service, Sgt. Maj. Scott D. Grade relinquished his duties to Sgt. Maj. Carlos A. Ruiz, who will post as the new MARFORRES sergeant major.
