Anatoliy Grigorevich Novikov (born on 30 October 1896 in Scopine - died on 24 September 1984 in Moscow), was a Russian composer, people's artist of the USSR (1970) and Hero of Socialist Labor (1976). Student Of R. M. Glier. He composed more than 600 songs for various artists including “Dark Girl” (1944), “Road” (1946), “Russia” (1946), “the Hymn of the Democratic Young People of Peace” (1947), and various musical comedies like “Vasiliy Terkin” (1971).
