Pi'oboscis fully developed ; palpi upturned, fringed with hair in front; frons smooth ; eyes large, rounded ; bead and tliorax clotlied aUnost entirely with scales, the tegalse produced to a slight dorsal ridge, the pro- and metathorax with spreading crests; tibiffi thickly scaled ; abdomen without crests. Fore wing with the termen evenly curved ; veins 3 and 5 iToni close to angle of cell; 9 from 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole ; 11 from cell.
