Staff Sgt. Adrian H. Peralta, drill instructor, Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, instructs recruits to sprint back and forth while waiting for their turn during the Confidence Course at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 13. Drill instructors supervised the event and advised the recruits on the techniques needed to successfully complete each obstacle. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Fox Company is scheduled to graduate April 13.
