Sir Alfred Lewis Jones Statue situated in front of the iconic Liver Building at Liverpools Pier Head. Born in Carmarthenshire in Wales, he served his apprenticeship on ships from the African Steamship Company. The Liver Building is one of the three buildings situated at Pier Head known as the Three Graces and the area of Pier Head is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
